While it is easy to delegate our sorrows to the Karma. It is very important to understand that we are still the actors of our lives. If we knew what the end result of our life would be, we would be too lazy to act upon our current actions.
Accept your fate as if you have chosen it. We're all the actors and also the awareness of our lives. We're so blessed we have this life. A life not bound by perfection, we get to make mistakes. Perfectionism is the job of the god. We're no gods, nor should we try to be.
A human is condemned to be free. Freedom is a beautiful thing until you realize you can not blame anyone for how your life shapes. Every choice you make is a definition of who you are.
Even if destiny exists, it bends for those who act. What is destiny, if not a collection of our past deeds.
So do you choose pleasure, or do you choose the good?
You tend to bargain with yourself when you have something to do. But when a loved one asks you to do something for them, you do it immediately. The sense of devotion towards your loved ones makes you act immediately for their needs. Build that sense of devotion for yourself and the "good" that you need to do. Reject the pleasure.
